Odyssey expands #7 putter with Stroke Lab Black ‘Toe Up’ version

The #7 head shape is the most-used Odyssey putter across the professional Tours with a ‘fang’ style that is now one of the most duplicated in the industry.

Within Odyssey’s output there are multiple variations of the #7 and their putting gurus have introduced a new version with the launch of the Stroke Lab Toe Up.

Using Stroke Lab’s ‘rebalancing’ of the shaft and the placement of weight throughout the putter as a hole, Odyssey put together many different materials within the head, butt and shaft to help improve tempo and consistency within every player’s stroke.

The Toe Up model features a unique hosel to create significant ‘toe up’ characteristics, which encourage minimal face rotation and arc in the stroke.

This new model features a black PVD finish and coating, and the insert is the latest from Odyssey, called ‘Microhinge Star’.

The benefits of the new insert are a firmer feel at impact and a more dense sound off the face.

It also tries to enhance roll and promote less skidding which exists in the White Hot ‘Microhinge’ insert.

This new addition comes hot on the heels of the ‘Triple Track’ line.
