Tiger’s son demolishes field in Florida

The golfing world has gone crazy after 11 year-old son Charlie Woods blitzed the field in a US Kids golf event in Florida. Shooting a three under par 33 in the nine-hole event the young Tiger finished five shots clear of his nearest competitor.

Proud dad and 15-time Major champion, Tiger Woods, recently remarked that Charlie was beginning to take the game more seriously.

Tiger had Charlie helping and getting use to the Augusta greens during the 2015 Masters Tournament Par Three contest.

“He’s starting to understand how to play,” he said on Golf TV. “Charlie doesn’t have the power right now but he’s asking me the right questions and enjoying shaping shots.

“It’s been an absolute blast to go out there and just be with him. It reminds me so much of me and my dad growing up.”

Tiger Woods, age 15 years, six months, and 28 days, and father Earl Woods, pose for a photo while celebrating Tiger’s victory at the 1991 USGA Junior Amateur Championships on July 28, 1991 at the Bay Hill Club in Orlando, Florida.

Tiger added: “I analyse his swing all the time. I wish I could rotate like that and turn my head like that and do some of those positions, but those days are long gone, and I have to relive them through him.”

What was Tiger Woods’ handicap when he was at his peak?
