After the incredible success of the P790 range, TaylorMade has enhanced their iron game to appeal to the upscale golf consumer and they insist the new P790 Ti is the ‘most premium iron’ they have ever created. After the culmination of four decades of golf research, the P790 Ti comprises the most advanced materials to deliver outstanding ball speed and breakthrough distance, while the club is flawlessly designed with a hollow titanium body injection and a tungsten insert. While there are many forged hollow-body irons on the market, the TaylorMade Ti irons are the first hollow-body titanium irons which bring game-improving performance to the P series in a players’-style iron, which is a unique approach for the brand.
Design
Compared to the original P790 iron, the Ti has a 2mm longer blade length, 2mm taller face and half a millimetre more offset, with a slightly wider sole for extra forgiveness. These irons also have more bounce to help them work through the turf more smoothly.
