Honma XP-1 Range: Game-improvement beauty

Hopefully you’re familiar with Honma these days after they signed one of the best players in the world, Justin Rose, to their books earlier this year. The Japanese high-quality brand is making huge moves in the club-making industry by meticulously manufacturing their clubs with the finest craftsmanship that make their own shafts to create a superior product. Their latest release, the XP-1 range, are game-improvement clubs in tour clothing that supply you with all the tools to shoot lower scores.

As expected, the Honma XP-1’s are incredibly forgiving which suits mid-high handicappers. However, their clean, classic appearance makes them look stunning. The quotation below from Major winner Rose proves just how fantastic they look for a game-improvement product line. We headed down to The Track, Meydan Golf where a new eGolf Megastore fitting studio has opened up to get a first look in the region of the new XP-1 range and hear what their PGA Professional & Custom Fit Specialist Marno Vorster had to say about this exciting release.

“These XP-1 irons are ideal for higher handicapped players who often hit the ball low on the face and are seeking more height. I love the look of these irons. They are beautiful at address, sit nicely and give you confidence with their technology in the head that gets the ball launching high. The driver is incredibly light with their hand-rolled original shafts so if you’re looking to increase your swing speed, this Honma driver would be ideal. It has a unique triangular look which I feel will make it stand out from the crowd and will tick all the boxes for the super game-improvement golfers out there that are looking for all the help they can get.”
