IN THE BAG: Molinari’s epic win for Callaway

Playing in his first start as an official member of the Callaway Tour Staff, 2018 Open Champion Francesco Molinari captured the Arnold Palmer Invitational in stunning fashion, turning in a sensational 8-under 64 in the final round for a two-shot victory.

“My first week as a Callaway player, so happy to see that the switch I made wasn’t as crazy as some people thought,” he said after his round. “I know the clubs are good for me and I showed it this week.”

Molinari started the final round four shots back but rode an absolute red hot putter to his third PGA TOUR victory. Using his Odyssey Toulon Madison putter (with Stroke Lab) and Chrome Soft X ball, Molinari rolled in 146 feet of putts, including that dramatic bender on the 72nd hole. “Today was probably the best putting round of my career,” he said in his post-round interview.
