Snag takes off with support of additional instructors for Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan has added a further 12 coaches to support the growth of golf in the country. All coaches attended and successfully passed Level 2 to become SNAG (Starting New At Golf) accredited teachers.

Commenting on the achievement Phil Jones, General Manager, said: “Our focus at Dreamland Golf Club is to introduce as many people to golf and have players enjoy our course and world class facilities here in Baku. Working with our team of instructors we continue to develop golf with innovated summer camp concepts and school tuition programmes.”

Michael Sweenie, PGA Head Professional, speaking about golf development in Azerbaijan added: “We have introduced over 600 children to golf in the last few months and can only see this number increasing. It’s been a great experience to work with SNAG and to see our team develop their coaching skills, the international qualification they have now is a milestone achievement for the game here in the country.”
