Lucas Herbert reveals who he would like to see make a comeback on Tour

Lucas Herbert was enjoying the best season of his career after triumphing in the prestigious Omega Dubai Desert Classic in a dramatic play-off against Christiaan Bezuidenhout.

The Australian is currently third in the Race to Dubai standings in only his third year on the European Tour and the 24 year old spoke exclusively to Jordan Smith on Zoom recently and revealed which ‘legend’ he would like to see make a comeback on the Tour.

“The #TourTales that were trending on social media were great,” says Herbert. “David Lynn posted about five or six videos that had me in stiches. The guy sounds like an absolute legend and I’d love for him to come back and play and create a few more stories.”

It wouldn’t be very patriotic of Herbert if he didn’t also include one of the greatest Australians of all time to the list of players he’d like to see return.

“If we could also have Greg Norman back in his prime, that would be really cool,” he added. “He hardly plays anymore so this would be great. You could stack him up against Tiger Woods and the rest of the field would be seem about 10 shots behind them on the leaderboard before we’ve even teed off!”
