Tyldsley claims Golden Ball Grand Final ticket

Simon Tyldsley sealed his Golden Ball Grand Final ticket after carding a net 71 at the Audi Medal qualifier event at Yas Links Golf Club.

Alastair Crombie came a close second, only losing out on a place in the Grand Final after a count back, with Tylsdley having the better back nine by one stroke.

Tyldsley will now battle it out with fellow qualifiers at Al Hamra Golf Club on the October 5, to compete for a chance to take part in the Ras Al Khaimah 2017 Golf Challenge Pro-Am, which will see the three winners rubbing shoulders with the stars of the European Challenge Tour.

“I thought I’d blown my chances with back to back bogeys over the last two holes, but now I’m looking forward to playing in Al Hamra,” said Tyldsley.
