Toby Bishop continued his scintillating form of late after securing another Men’s Open title at Abu Dhabi Golf Club with an impressive final round 67 over the National Course.
The Welshman started the final round four shots adrift of leader Jake Wiltshire but soon rose to the summit of the leaderboard with four birdies before making the turn. The youngster continued his purple patch over the back nine, adding three more birdies to finish with a 67, the best 18-hole score of the week, which secured a three stroke victory over James Nash.
The win, which extends Bishop’s lead at the top of the EGF Order of Merit, comes off the back of three consecutive Men’s Open victories last month at Tower Links Golf Club, Trump International Golf Club, Dubai and Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club.
Sam Mullane finished three shots further back in third while overnight leader Wiltshire shot a final round 82 to finish in fifth.
