Mousa Shana’ah continued his fine recent form as the youngster posted a stunning junior course record 67 to secure the Junior Masters Summer Open Tour at JA, The Resort.
Shana’ah, who had previously set the junior course record with a 68 at another Junior Open Masters Tour event, showed his class as he romped to an six-stroke triumph over Swiss player Abu Torab Argandiwal while third place went to the Emirati player Abdulla Kalbat on 78.
The Jordanian starlet, who is coached by JA’s Yasin Ali, won the Green Jacket for topping the Order of Merit in the inaugural year of the Junior Open Masters Tour and has carried his fine form into this season with victory at JA, The Resort earlier this season along with another triumph at Al Hamra Golf Club, where he also set the junior course record.
In the Girls Gross Division, England’s Kate Bibby won with a score of 69 with second place going to Indian player Aasiya Saleem, while Karma Bridgman of Canada took home third.
There was more joy for the Shana’ah family in the Boys Net Division with Hashem Shana’ah securing top spot followed by Japanese player Sean Widor.
