Abu Dhabi Golf Club recently held The Club Championship 2018 which was played on the National course over two days with 72 competitors eyeing top prize in the 36 hole strokeplay event.
The Ladies Club Championship saw young Chantel El-Chaib come of age with a stunning score of 152 (+8) whilst Blanca Rivollier claimed victory in the Net Division with a net score of 139 (-5).
The Men’s competition saw some fantastic scoring on day one with Ruairidh Mitchell carding the low round of the tournament with a 3 under par 69. Chris Ross however had a weekend he will never forget after playing some incredible golf after being five over par through the first nine holes of the event. From there he played his way around the next 27 holes in 3 under par which gave him a total of 146 which saw him finish two shots clear of Ruairidh Mitchell on 148.
Finally, the Net event was won with two very solid rounds from Donovan Joseph who did the hard work in round one with a net 68 and grinded out a level par 72 in round two to win by two strokes.
