Charles Parks clinched the honours in Division 1 of the first round of the Race to Rixos Medal Series last month with a net 69, two clear of Thomas Nesbitt.
Division 2 went to Thulasidas Nambiar with a 68, six clear of Bob Whatley while the gross prize on the day went to the reigning Club Champion Chantal El Chaib with a 71.
In the Lockheed Martin Members Stableford competition there was a victory for the Club Captain in Division 2 while Steve Brecken topped the pile in Division 1.
Meanwhile the first event of the new season was the Southern Sun Showdown supported by Musco Lighting and was played to a Texas scramble pairs format.
Coming out on top were junior players Lili Brecken and Lara El Chaib with a score of net 30, one ahead of Adam Joy and John Albertson.
