Fancy yourself as being a monster off the tee? Well, this might just be the perfect opportunity for you.UK Long Drive Champion, Lucas Dornan, is in town ahead of the inaugural Long Drive World Series at Jumeirah Golf Estates on March 17 and he has set a marker of 404 yards on the X-Golf Simulator at eGolf Megastore. If you can beat that, or finish the highest out of all the eGolf Megastore customers, you can win a wildcard to the qualifying tournament. The competition closes on March 14 so you better head down and test your mettle at the eGolf Megastore in Al Wasl to see how you fare against the best.

The JGE event includes an open qualifier on March 16 to secure the other wildcard spot. The final the following day will run into the evening with the likes of two-time reigning world champion Joe Miller and Dornan competing.

Rules

Like normal long drive competitions, amateurs will be given three minutes on the simulator (eight balls max) to be crowned the UAE’s longest amateur and must keep their ball inside a grid that is 100 yards wide.

Good luck everyone.
