Romain Langasque, Alexander Levy and Antoine Rozner will all return to Le Golf National for the Cazoo Open de France from September 21-24, 2023.
The French trio, who have nine DP World Tour wins between them, will all tee it up with the hope of becoming the first home victor of Continental Europe’s oldest national since Thomas Levet’s triumph in 2011.
Le Golf National, the 2018 Ryder Cup venue, will host the 105th edition of the Open de France the week before the biennial contest returns to Europe at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club and Levy, who last tasted victory at the 2018 Trophee Hassan II, is excited to play in front of home fans once again.
“The Cazoo Open de France is a great tournament and I am looking forward to returning to Le Golf National,” the five-time DP World Tour winner said.
“There have been some amazing moments down the years and I am sure this year will be no different. Hopefully I can bring my best game and give the French fans something to cheer about.”
Three-time DP World Tour champion Rozner finished in a tie for 11th on his tournament debut at Le Golf National last year and is hoping to use that a springboard this time around.
“I enjoyed my first experience of the Open de France last year and I hope to build on that and put myself in contention this year.
“Nothing compares to playing at home. I love playing in front of the crowds in Paris and I hope they can come out and support again this year.”
Langasque has enjoyed a strong first half of the 2023 season with four top ten finishes, including a second place at the DS Automobiles Italian Open, and is relishing the opportunity to compete on home soil having previously tasted success in his homeland.
“I won in Provence on the Challenge Tour in 2018 and having the home support was so inspiring that week.
“When you play at home, you feel like everyone is driving you on to win. I love playing in the Open de France and it would mean so much to win my national Open.
“I can’t wait to see everybody at Le Golf National in September.”
The Cazoo Open de France returned to the DP World Tour International Schedule in 2022 after a two-year hiatus, with Italy’s Guido Migliozzi producing one of the shots of the season into the famous 18th green as he won by one stroke from Rasmus Højgaard in a thrilling final day battle.
