The MENA Golf Tour has announced its first-ever US Qualifying School, set to take place at the renowned Slammer & Squire course at World Golf Village, Florida, from October 13-15, marking a major step in the Tour’s international expansion plans.
The move represents the biggest global development in the Tour’s history and signals a bold new era for the circuit ahead of the 2026/27 season.
A Global Stage for MENA Golf
The US Q School will create a direct pathway for American and international players to access the MENA Golf Tour while laying the foundations for a potential future US swing of events.
Designed by Bobby Weed with input from golf legends Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen, the Slammer & Squire course is widely regarded as one of Florida’s premier layouts and has earned multiple national rankings for its conditioning and design.
Keith Waters, Chairman and Commissioner of the MENA Golf Tour, said:
“The last few months have tested everyone involved with this Tour, but they have also confirmed exactly what the MENA Golf Tour is capable of. We are not just coming back – we are coming back bigger, bolder and more ambitious than ever before. A US Qualifying School at a venue of World Golf Village’s stature shows exactly where this Tour is heading. It puts our region on the world stage, opens the door to a new pool of talent and creates a platform for future expansion into the United States.”

New Route To Professional Golf Success
The top 10 finishers at the US Q School will earn Category 4 status, guaranteeing starts in every MENA Golf Tour event during the 2026/27 season. Players finishing 11th to 20th will receive Category 11 status, providing access to multiple tournaments throughout the campaign.
Successful graduates will join a schedule featuring 12 guaranteed events with prize funds ranging from $100,000 to $200,000, with the top 60 players and ties paid at every tournament.
The Tour continues to offer a proven pathway to the HotelPlanner Tour and beyond. Order of Merit champion Chris Wood secured his HotelPlanner Tour card through the MENA Golf Tour before winning the Italian Challenge Open earlier this season.
Strongest Position in Tour History
Brendon Williams, Co-Owner of US promoter GSM International, believes the launch could be the start of something much bigger.
“We are very excited for this Q School and believe it is going to be a huge success. The response from players has been extremely positive and the natural next step is the possibility of a US swing of MENA Golf Tour events. World Golf Village is the perfect venue to launch this new chapter.”
With a US Qualifying School, growing international reach and a clear pathway towards the HotelPlanner Tour and DP World Tour, the MENA Golf Tour enters the 2026/27 season in the strongest position in its history.
Further announcements regarding the 2026/27 schedule, venues and commercial partnerships are expected in the coming weeks. Players can register for the US Qualifying School through the MENA Golf Tour app.
