Which LIV Golfers will be teeing it up at Valhalla?

The PGA of America has issued special invitations to seven players from the Saudi-backed circuit ahead of this year’s tournament in Kentucky. This marks the first instance where a Major championship seems to have acknowledged performances exclusively from the breakaway league.

The PGA Championship organisers take pride in assembling one of the strongest fields in golf, and this year’s line-up includes several past winners, Major champions, and promising newcomers from the LIV Golf.

Defending champion Brooks Koepka is set to vie for his fourth PGA Championship title, while contenders like Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith from LIV Golf pose serious challenges to the five-time Major champion.

Notably, Patrick Reed will extend his streak of consecutive Major appearances to 41 next week, thanks in part to a reprieve from the PGA of America.

Here’s a comprehensive list of all LIV golfers participating in the season’s second Major and how they earned their spots…
