Trump no show at LIV Golf Miami Pro Am

Donald Trump isn’t shy of escaping to the course when the political heat is on. Though with an election campaign looming, giving his rival more ammunition, might not be the best move for former golf loving President, even if the current LIV Golf event was being held at one of his courses.

Last month Trump, 77, posted he won the Club Championship and Senior Club Championship at Trump International West Palm Beach.

The post, which appeared on Truth Social, was sent during the club’s awards night.

“It is my great honour to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY,” Trump wrote.

“I WON BOTH!”

Trump added his club includes a “large and golfing talented membership, a GREAT and difficult course.”

That post was mocked by President Joe Biden, who reposted Trump, and added: “Congratulations, Donald. Quite the accomplishment.”

Imagine if Trump was to have teed it up at Doral, the scorecard calculators would have been out, but what if his team won the Pro Am!
