Tiger Woods announces 2024 PGA Tour comeback date

Tiger Woods is set to make his first start on the PGA Tour in 2024 at the Genesis Invitational in February.

The 15-time major champion has kept a light schedule since sustaining a leg injury in a car accident back in 2021.

Woods’ most recent appearance was in December, where he expressed plans to participate in one tournament per month throughout 2024.

At 48 years old, Woods expresses his enthusiasm for competing in the Genesis Invitational, an event he hosts, kicking off in California on Thursday, February 15th.

Having withdrawn from the Masters in April 2023, Woods returned to competitive play at the Hero World Challenge in December.

Additionally, he teamed up with his 14-year-old son Charlie at the PNC Championship in Orlando the same month.

Woods’ most recent victory on the PGA Tour dates back to the 2019 Zozo Championship in Japan, where he tied Sam Snead’s record of 82 Tour victories.
