Reigning champion Charley Hull and New York native Annie Park all set for Aramco Team Series – New York

The top women’s golfers in the world head to New York this week for the Aramco Team Series – New York tournament at Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point in the Bronx. The professional golf event is part of the Ladies European Tour and 78 golfers will compete for a share of the $1M prize purse.

Aramco Team Series – New York will feature a star-studded field including top pros including world no. 4 ranked Nelly Korda, no. 6 Brooke Henderson, no. 8 Lexi Thompson and no. 14 Jessica Korda. 53 players return to the field who participated in the 2021 tournament.

Charley Hull captured the 2021 Aramco Team Series – New York championship with a 12-under par total and hoisted the individual trophy at New York’s Glen Oaks Club. The English golf superstar currently stands at number 18 in the women’s world golf rankings. Hull travels to New York after capturing The Ascendent LPGA championship at the beginning of October, her first LPGA Tour title since 2016.

On the 2022 Aramco Team Series – New York event, Hull commented: “I had so much fun last year at the Aramco Team Series event in New York and winning the individual championship made it such an amazing experience. These events are so relaxed and I always have a great time on the course – I can’t wait to do it again this week.”

Also headlining the Aramco Team Series – New York event is Annie Park who returns home as she grew up in Levittown, New York and starred at MacArthur High School – a short drive from this week’s event. Following her successful high school career, Park went on to win individual and team collegiate national championships at the University of Southern California before joining the LPGA Tour.

Ahead of Aramco Team Series New York, Annie Park commented: “Coming home to compete in New York is always such a special experience for me. This is the city where I grew up loving the game of golf and I’m really excited to make new memories this week at Aramco Team Series New York.”
