MENA GOLF TOUR CONFIRMS 2025–26 SCHEDULE

The Mena Golf Tour has confirmed its 2025–26 schedule, unveiling a 12-event season across Portugal, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan and the GCC. The Tour’s return is preceded by a 54-hole MENA Golf Tour Q School at Troia Golf Course, Portugal (20-22 November), which will determine membership and category status for the season, with entries closing 15 November. While Q School marks the first event of the Tour’s comeback, the regular season begins the following week in Portugal.

In a major player-first commitment, all regular season events will carry guaranteed, tax-free prize funds of USD $100,000, with prize money paid within 48 hours of the final putt. The schedule has been routed to minimise travel, moving in logical territory swings to reduce time and cost pressures on players.

Aroeira

Opening Event

The season opens with the PGA Aroeira Challenge (25–27 November) and the Rolear Algarve Classic at Amendoeira (2–4 December), before a four-event Egypt Swing in January–February 2026 (venues TBA). A North Africa block follows at Al Houara, Tangier, then a Jordan double-header at Ayla, before closing with two events in the GCC.

New for this season, the 36-hole Q-Sprint at Al Houara (22–23 February 2026) serves as a mid-season Q School, giving new players a second opportunity to qualify for the second half of the season and allowing current members to improve their category via re-rank. Q-Sprint will feature a healthy USD $50,000 purse.

Mena Golf Tour Chairman and Commissioner Keith Waters said:

“We’re delighted to unveil such a strong schedule featuring world-class venues across Portugal, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan and the GCC. We’re putting players first: guaranteed tax-free purses, 48-hour payouts and a sensible, low-friction routing are at the heart of this season. With Q School November and a mid-season Q-Sprint re-opening the pathway in February, the 2025–26 calendar creates more chances to earn status and compete at quality venues across Europe, North Africa and the Gulf.”

The MENA Golf Tour remains the only OWGR-recognised circuit headquartered in the Middle East, providing vital opportunities for professional golfers from the region and around the globe. The Tour is also in active discussions with the DP World Tour and the HotelPlanner Tour to formalise progression opportunities for leading players, including direct access to DP World Tour Qualifying School and status pathways on the HotelPlanner Tour.
