The Golf Trick Shot Boys marked their first appearance at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in hilarious fashion with Geoff Swain and Kevin Carpenter putting a smile on spectators faces with their majestic show at the season-ending event.
The show, which features unicycles, baby drivers, 6ft clubs and giant exercise balls, has seen huge crowds flock to the driving range to catch a glimpse of the spectacle which portrays golf in a fun and light hearted way and even welcomes audience participation.
“We’ve had three shows a day at 12:45, 3pm and 5:30pm which have been really well received,” said Swain who is the reigning World Golf Trick Shot Champion.
“We are delighted to be here performing for the first time. It’s a brilliant end to the season with all the top players competing. Hopefully, the crowd has seen something different and unique with our show this year as we perform the tricks together so we have the opportunity to perform far more outrageously than you can do individually.”
“The crowds have been fantastic this week and very interactive which helps make our shows more special,” added PGA Professional Carpenter. “It’s been a real blast for us and we can’t wait to return to this marvellous event again in the future.”
As well as entertaining fans at the European Tour’s grand finale, they’ve been doing their bit to promote the sport to junior golfers in the region by visiting local schools and performing shows and giving students tips on how to play the game.
