Emily Kristine Pedersen fires a 68 to lead the Saudi Ladies International

Current Race to Costa de Sol leader Emily Kristine Pedersen followed yesterday’s 67 with a 68 to open up a two-shot lead at the half-way stage of the inaugural Aramco Saudi Ladies International presented by Public Investment Fund.

Denmark’s Pedersen – who won the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open earlier this season – made three birdies, one eagle and one solitary bogey in her round of 68 to sit at 9-under-par.

Wales’ Lydia Hall carded a 71 after an opening 66 to get to 7-under-par while overnight leader Georgia Hall of England dropped three late shots for a 1-over-par 73 which sees her in third place on 6-under-par.

German pair Esther Henseleit and Laura Fuenfstueck are both on 5-under in a share of fourth place.

Carly Booth (68), Anna Nordqvist (69) and Luna Sobron Galmes (66) all bounced back from opening rounds in the 70s to get to 4-under-par and lie in a share of sixth place.
