Dubai’s Chiara Noja moves a step closer to securing Ladies European Tour playing privileges

Dubai resident Chiara Noja moved a step closer to securing her Ladies European Tour (LET) playing privileges for next season after the teen sensation consolidated her her place at the top of the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) Order of Merit with a runner-up finish at Golf Vlaanderen LETAS Trophy at Millenium Golf in Belgium.

The 16-year-old looked as if she might capture a second LETAS trophy of the season but a double bogey on the 17th stopped the youngster in her tracks. Despite the agony of the double bogey, Noja bounced back superbly with a birdie on the last to snatch a share of second place, just one stroke behind champion Kristalle Blum who stumbled across the finish line with a final round 75.

Despite missing out on the triumph, Noja strengthened her position at the top of the rankings and now sits on 1171.25 points. The top five players on the rankings at the end of the season will secure their LET card for the 2023 season.
