Dubai-born Thomas in strong position at PGA Tour Q School

Dubai-born Rayhan Thomas is in a strong position to advance to Stage Two of the PGA Tour’s Qualifying School.

Thomas, a recent winner on the PGTI, is competing in the First Stage of the competition in Nebraska.

With just one round left to play, the 24-year-old finds himself tied for 10th place in the 80-player field.

The top 21 players, along with any ties, will move forward to the next stage of Qualifying School.

Over the first three days, Thomas carded impressive rounds of 68, 66, and 71 with a total of 15 birdies to get to this position so far.

His consistent play leaves him at eight under par, bringing him closer to securing his place in Stage Two.

If Thomas advances from Stage One and also succeeds in Stage Two, he will have a chance to compete at the Final Stage of the PGA Tour Qualifying School.

The top five finishers and ties at the Final Stage will be awarded PGA Tour cards for the 2025 season.

Even if he doesn’t finish in the top five at the Final Stage, there are still valuable opportunities on the line.

The next 40 finishers and ties will earn exempt status through multiple reshuffles during the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour season, keeping their dreams of reaching the PGA Tour alive.
