DP World Tour 2026: Triple Dubai stop confirmed, Trump’s Doonbeg set for Irish Open

The DP World Tour has confirmed its 2026 global schedule, featuring 42 tournaments in 25 countries and a record $157.5 million prize fund.

Dubai will once again be at the heart of the Race to Dubai with three events:

  • Dubai Invitational (Jan 15–18)

  • Hero Dubai Desert Classic (Jan 22–25, Rolex Series)

  • DP World Tour Championship (Nov 12–15), where the season champion will be crowned at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

  • Abu Dhabi also retains its slot in the Play-Offs with the Abu Dhabi Championship (Nov 5–8).

Trump to Stage Irish Open

Headline changes include the Amgen Irish Open moving to Trump International Golf Links Ireland, Doonbeg (Sept 10–13) and the addition of the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship (May 7–10) in Barcelona.

Guy Kinnings, DP World Tour Chief Executive, said the 2026 calendar “showcases global talent in global destinations,” with the season again divided into Global Swings, the Back 9, and the Play-Offs.

Membership updates will also take effect, with the Race to Dubai cut-off reduced from top 110 to 100, and fewer cards available via the HotelPlanner Tour and Qualifying School.
