DATES ANNOUNCED FOR THE 2027 RYDER CUP

The 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland, will take centre stage from September 13-19, 2027. Ryder Cup Europe has announced the dates for what promises to be a spectacular 100th anniversary edition of golf’s greatest team contest.

Set against the backdrop of Adare Manor’s stunning parkland layout, the week-long event will kick off with four days of build-up and practice from Monday 13 to Thursday 16 September. The real action begins on Friday 17 September, as Team Europe and Team USA battle it out for glory through to Sunday 19 September.

With this year’s Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York concluding in September, Adare Manor will officially become the next host venue – marking the second time the Ryder Cup has come to Ireland, after the unforgettable 2006 edition at The K Club.

Ticket and Experience Details Coming Soon

Ryder Cup Europe will release ticket information in 2026, with premium experience packages set to become available later this year. To stay in the loop, you can register your interest for tickets and premium experiences now via the official Ryder Cup website.

Volunteer opportunities to be part of the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor will also be announced in the coming months – a chance for fans to play a role in one of golf’s most historic weeks.

A Milestone for Irish Golf

Guy Kinnings, Chief Executive of the European Tour Group, emphasised the significance of this announcement:

“The official confirmation of the dates is a major milestone for Adare Manor and Irish golf. With Rory McIlroy’s recent Grand Slam triumph and The Open around the corner, the buzz for golf on the island of Ireland is electric. The 2027 Ryder Cup will add another chapter to this excitement as the event celebrates its centenary.”

Patrick O’Donovan T.D., Ireland’s Minister for Arts, Media, Communications, Culture and Sport, shared his pride:

“The 2027 Ryder Cup will showcase the many tourism and golfing benefits of Ireland. The passion of the Irish people for golf will make this event truly memorable.”

Charlie McConalogue T.D., Minister of State for Sport and Postal Policy, added:

“Major events like the Ryder Cup drive participation in golf and contribute to trade, tourism, and economic growth. The world-class Adare Manor venue will be a fitting stage for the centenary event, broadcast to millions globally.”

The Host Venue: Adare Manor’s Storied Past

Adare Manor’s golf course, originally designed by Tom Fazio and extensively renovated in 2017, sits alongside the River Maigue. The course hosted the Irish Open in 2007 (won by Pádraig Harrington) and 2008 (won by Richard Finch), and has become synonymous with world-class golf thanks to the JP McManus Pro-Am – which has raised millions for charity.

JP McManus, owner of Adare Manor, commented:

“Hosting the 2027 Ryder Cup is an incredible honour. We’re looking forward to welcoming thousands of international visitors to Limerick and Adare, showcasing Ireland to a global audience, and celebrating this iconic event’s 100th anniversary.”

As the countdown to 2027 begins, Adare Manor and the local community are ready to embrace the opportunity and ensure that this Ryder Cup leaves a legacy as grand as its venue.
