Bapco Energies named Title Partner of the Bahrain Championship 2025

Bapco Energies, the integrated energy company leading the energy transition in the Kingdom of Bahrain, was named as the Title Partner of the Bahrain Championship, set to take place at the Royal Golf Club from January 30-February 2, 2025.

Last year saw the DP World Tour visit the Kingdom for the first time since 2011 and it returns in 2025 as one of five events in the Middle East.  This is  part of the International Swing on the 2025 Race to Dubai, with fans able to witness the action with FREE general admission tickets available here.

Moving up from presenting partner to title sponsor, Bapco Energies is taking the tournament to new heights and reaffirming its commitment to the growth of Bahrain’s premier international golf event.

What the partnership means

The partnership focuses on elevating the tournament experience for players, stakeholders, and spectators alike, establishing the event as a world-class attraction. Bapco Energies is pioneering environmental initiatives, including powering hospitality units and structures with solar energy and batteries. The 2025 event will also feature hydrogen-powered buses, setting the stage for a carbon-neutral tournament in the near future.

$2.5 Million Prize Fund

The tournament, which features a $2.5 million prize fund, follows the Team Cup, the Hero Dubai Desert Classic – the first Rolex Series event of the season – and the Ras Al KhaimahChampionship as one of eight events on the International Swing.

As well as FREE general admission, there are also elevated and premium experiences available. Ticket + allows spectators to experience the Clubhouse and enjoy spectacular views of the golfing action on the 18th fairway and green from the private terrace, with limited early bird pricing from BHD 15.

HOW TO BOOK PREMIUM HOSPITALITY

The Championship Chalet, also overlooking the 18th green and fairway, provides a 5-star premium hospitality offering with 5-star buffet style food and beverage offering. Guests will have access to the hospitality lounge located on the first floor of the clubhouse (Links restaurant) as well as access to the connected balcony overseeing the 18th green, and a shaded viewing platform providing an even closer and more pristine viewing experience. Reserved car parking is included and limited, early bird tickets can be purchased from BHD 110.

Outside of the world class golf action, friends and families will be treated to a full programme of activities and entertainment, including live music and a wealth of food and beverage options.
