Indian golfer Shiv Kapur receives Dubai Golden Visa

Shiv Kapur, the 39 year-old European Tour pro, has been awarded the Dubai Golden VISA.

The Indian golfer has been a UAE resident for 15 years and is a member of The Els Club, Dubai .

At the ceremony Kapur commented, “I am proud to receive this award, especially on being the second golfer on the list behind my childhood hero and fellow Indian golfer Jeev Milka Singh. I would like to especially thank the government of Dubai for making it happen.

“I have played in many Dubai Desert Classics at Emirates Golf Club as well as one highlight of my golfing career to date was winning the 2013 Dubai Festival City Challenge Grand Final at Al Badia Golf Club, the final event on the Challenge Tour.

“I look forward to getting back to tournament golf and be an ambassador of Dubai wherever I play,” concluded Kapur.
