Some of the best players in the game have graced our front cover over the years since we launched in 1999 and we caught up with some of them at Emirates Golf Club during the Omega Dubai Desert Classic as they reminisced and wished us a happy 200th edition.

Henrik Stenson became an adopted son of the UAE during the ten years that he called Dubai home and we’ve got to know the witty and outrageously talented Swede quite well over the years so it’s no surprise that the Major champion and two-time Race to Dubai winner has graced our front cover a fair few times.

Matt Fitzpatrick, the 2016 DP World Tour Championship winner, has been a favourite of ours since we first got to know him during the 2014 NBO Golf Classic Grand Final at Al Mouj. He was playing on the Challenge Tour then and narrowly missed out on automatic promotion to the European Tour that week. But he went on to gain his card through Q-School and the rest, as they, is history!

Stephen Gallagher was flying high in 2014 after winning his second consecutive Desert Classic so we were delighted to have him on our front cover that year and how could we celebrate our 200th edition without regular columnist and all round top bloke, Rafa Cabrera Bello!
