Kyle Smith clinched the recent opening fixture of the Rixos Monthly Medal series at Saadiayt Beach Golf Club with a net 74.
Smith, who was competing in Division 1 (hcp 11 and below), won via a countback against Guy Tennant.
A score of net 72 saw Raj Tandon win Division 2 (hcp 12+) with Ian Taverner in second with a 76 while the lowest gross score on the day came from Mark Slater with an 80.
