Sandra Chia will be setting her sights on winning the Golden Ball Grand Final after delivering a super performance and taking the crown in the ladies Golden Ball qualifier at Emirates Golf Club.
Thirty-seven ladies took part in the event with Chia scoring a net 41 to top the table. Ingrid Lind-Eerligh came a close second with a score of net 39 to finish two off the leader.
Chia will now take her place in the Grand Final at Al Hamra on October 5, with the three winners gaining a spot in the Ras Al Khaimah 2017 Pro-Am which will see the winners rubbing shoulders with the European Challenge Tour stars.
“I am very excited to go to Al Hamra Golf Club for the chance to play in the Pro-Am,” said Chia. “Hopefully I will continue my good form from today!”
