World No. 60 and latest winner of Omega Dubai Desert Classic, Li Haotong from China was on hand to conduct the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise draw for a Mercedes S560 (Diamond White) following his victory by a single stroke against Rory McIlroy at the Emirates Golf Club yesterday.
The Chinese player drew the winning Finest Surprise ticket no. 1224 in Series 1675 and announced the winner as Mr. S.M. HaotongMerrick was accompanied by Dubai Duty Free’s Executive Vice Chairman & CEO, Colm McLoughlin, Chief Operating Officer, Ramesh Cidambi and Salah Tahlak, Executive Vice President – Corporate Services.

Mr. S.M, a British national living in Dubai for 26 years, is an engineer by profession and couldn’t hide his excitement upon hearing the good news. A regular participant to Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise promotion, he was elated to finally win after purchasing more than 50 tickets and commented, “Nothing can’t top this morning call from Dubai Duty Free, and I couldn’t believe that I have finally won. Thank you so much!”
Tickets for the Finest Surprise promotion were on sale at Dubai Duty Free counters at the Emirates Golf Club throughout the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, which was held from 25th to 28th January.
