Chris Abreu hit a purple patch last month after winning two events in the space of five days. He shot a superb net 66 to win the Monthly Medal by three shots ahead of Guiliano Franzot and he followed that with victory in the Monthly Stableford thanks to a 40-point haul. Abreu won by six points ahead of Wessel-Jan Kos who took second place on a countback ahead of Kevin Black. The gross prize in the Medal went to Kory Thompson (pictured below) while the gross Stableford honours went to Alaister Murray.
