Arnaus Banking on Desert Form in UAE Double-Header

Dubai resident Adri Arnaus is aiming to capitalise on familiar conditions and local support as he targets a return to the DP World Tour via the HotelPlanner Tour’s UAE double-header this April.

The action begins at Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club in Ajman (10–13 April) before heading to Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club (17–20 April), with both events co-promoted by the Emirates Golf Federation.

A five-season DP World Tour player and 2022 Catalunya Championship winner, Arnaus is currently 46th in the Road to Mallorca Rankings. With only the top 20 earning promotion for 2026, the Spaniard knows the next two weeks are critical.

Playing Close To Home

“I feel really comfortable on desert courses – they suit my game and mindset,” said Arnaus. “Playing close to home with family and friends supporting me gives me a big lift.”

Arnaus famously secured his promotion to the DP World Tour with a win at the 2018 Ras Al Khaimah Grand Final (pictured above with the trophy) and is hoping to draw on those positive memories.

The UAE swing will also feature a strong local presence, with 60 spots allocated to UAE-based players through the EGF. Among those teeing it up are National Team standouts Ahmad Skaik and Jonathan Selvaraj, along with long-time Dubai residents Dominic Foos, Garrick Porteous, and Joshua Grenville-Wood.

Both events are free to attend, giving fans a chance to catch top-level golf up close in Ajman and Al Ain.
