Field sets sights on Golden Ball glory

Graeme Field will be heading for Al Hamra Golf Club on October 5 for the Golden Ball Grand Final to compete for a chance to play with the stars of the European Challenge Tour in the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge on October 24.

Field, who finished second place in the qualifier but was promoted to the Golden Ball Grand Final after winner Steve Thomas was unable to attend, shot 32 points in the qualifier at Trump International Golf Club.  Thirteen golfers braved the heat for the qualifier and Field edged out Paul Mcauley who was only just one point off the finalist.

He now joins the rest of the qualifiers to try and grab one of three places for a once in a lifetime opportunity to tee off with the future stars of the game In the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge Pro-Am.
