The Els Club Dubai, on behalf of Dubai Sports City, has announced that it will host the Faldo Junior Tour from 12–14 October 2025, welcoming some of the brightest young golfers from around the world to compete on one of the region’s most iconic championship courses.
A World-Class Stage for Future Golf Stars
The prestigious 54-hole World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event will see boys and girls aged 13–21 battle it out in a professional-style tournament environment. Players will enjoy a fully hosted experience, including welcome packs, daily catering, and first-class facilities across three days of intense competition on the award-winning Ernie Els–designed layout.
The Faldo Junior Tour has long been recognised as a launchpad for future champions, with past participants including Rory McIlroy, Tyrrell Hatton, and Carly Booth. The 2025 edition promises to continue that legacy right here in Dubai.
Exclusive CH3 Performance Golf Academy Partnership
This year’s event introduces an exclusive partnership with the CH3 Performance Golf Academy, located at The Els Club Dubai. Competitors will have the opportunity to attend a specialist golf clinic with Claude Harmon III this November, while top performers will earn a private one-on-one lesson with the renowned coach — a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from one of the game’s elite instructors.
“It’s fantastic to see The Els Club hosting a WAGR event, giving juniors the opportunity to compete at the highest level,” said Michael Bolt, Director of Instruction at CH3 Performance Golf Academy. “With a field representing 29 nationalities and more than 30 single-digit golfers, this is a truly special event for the next generation.”
Pathway to the Faldo Grand Final
Tournament winners will secure automatic qualification for the Faldo Series Grand Final, a fully hosted experience featuring accommodation, transport, practice rounds, daily lunches, and a gala dinner at the final venue.
“On behalf of Dubai Sports City, CH3 Performance Golf Academy, and Troon, we’re honoured to welcome the Faldo Series back to Dubai,” said Tom Rourke, General Manager of The Els Club Dubai. “Hosting such a prestigious global event for the next three years reinforces our commitment to nurturing junior talent and showcasing the exceptional course conditions and facilities we offer here at The Els Club.”

Building the Future of Junior Golf in Dubai
With its award-winning course and reputation as a hub for elite golf in the Middle East, The Els Club Dubai is the perfect host venue for the Faldo Junior Tour. Alongside the CH3 Junior Development and Elite Programs, this event provides a powerful platform for young golfers to test their skills, gain international exposure, and follow a proven pathway toward professional success.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Faldo Junior Tour to The Els Club Dubai for the third consecutive year,” added Jim Prescott, Regional Manager of the Faldo Series MENA. “This world-class venue gives players a true test and helps shape the next generation of champions.”
