Past champion Shane Lowry is thrilled to return to the UAE for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship next month.
The event is the first of the DP World Tour Play-Offs, running from November 7-10 at Yas Links Golf Course, Abu Dhabi.
Lowry himself won the Falcon Trophy in 2019, six months before claiming the Claret Jug at The 148th Open.
He will join Major champions Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Adam Scott, and Tommy Fleetwood at Yas Links next month.
The 37-year-old has had a successful 2024, achieving 13 top-20 finishes worldwide including a sixth place finish in two majors.

He also partnered with McIlroy to win the PGA TOUR’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans – his only victory of the season so far.
“I’m excited to end my season in the UAE, starting with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship at Yas Links,” said Lowry.
“It’s always nice to return to a part of the world where you have had success in the past, and I hope to end the year on a high.”
The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will feature the top 70 players from the Race to Dubai Rankings. The top 50 players will advancing to the season-ending DP World Tour Championship.
Also competing are Genesis Scottish Open champion Robert MacIntyre and Thriston Lawrence, second in the Race to Dubai.
Alongside world-class golf, Yas Links will offer family-friendly events, including activities for children, Ladies Day, and Family Day.
