How the golf industry reacted to PGA Tour, DP World Tour & LIV Golf merger

It’s safe to say that yesterday’s news of the PGA TOUR, DP World Tour and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) announcing a landmark agreement to unify the game of golf, on a global basis, caught everyone by surprise, including players, fans and the golf media.

The announcement ends a months-long standoff between some of golf’s largest stakeholders, and changes the landscape of the sport as we know it.
