Shane Lowry reveals new caddie ahead of PGA Tour stint

Shane Lowry has named Darren Reynolds as his new caddie for the foreseeable future.

Lowry parted ways with his long-time bagman Brian ‘Bo’ Martin after missing the cut at last month’s Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

The duo formed a formidable winning partnership which included triumphing together at the 2019 Open Championship.

However, the pair have now separated with fellow Irishman Reynolds set to take up the role,  starting at this week’s WM Phoenix Open on the PGA Tour.

He’s also set to be in place for Genesis Invitational, Honda Classic, Arnold Palmer Invitational, Players Championship as well as the Masters.

Reynolds has over 20 years of experience including six years on the bag for 2014 Ryder Cup Captain Paul McGinley.

He more recently helped Paul Dunne to victory at the 2017 British Masters where he Northern Irishman beat Rory McIlroy by three shots.

Reynolds will become Lowry’s fourth caddie, with Dermot Byrne and Dave ‘Shaper’ Reynolds previously holding the position alongside the recently-dismissed Martin.
