The TaylorMade Skins match is tonight! Here are all the details

Four of the world’s top golfers will get back into the swing of things tonight (Sunday 17 May) in the TaylorMade Driving Relief skins match between the majestic team of Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson against former Oklahoma State standouts Rickie Fowler and Matthew Wolff.

If the return of the Bundesliga wasn’t enough to satisfy sports fans after this lengthy spell out, this star-studded event will give golf fans a chance to watch some of the top talents in action, in a unique format and on a course that’s never been seen before on TV.

Format

The team skins format means that each player will play his own ball, with each team counting the lower score between the two players on each hole. McIlroy and Johnson will play for the American Nurses Foundation, while Fowler and Wolff will play for the CDC Foundation charity.

With all money going to charity, both teams will start with $500,000 (AED 1.8m) in the bank. From there, hole values will increase as the match continues: Holes 1-6 will be worth $50,000 (AED 183,000) each, while Holes 7-16 will be worth $100,000 (AED 366,000). The 17th hole will be worth $200,000 (AED 732,000) while No. 18 will feature a $500,000 skin (AED 1.8m).

How can I watch it?

Live match coverage will air from 2-6 p.m. ET (10pm-2am GST) on May 17 on NBC, Golf Channel, NBCSN, Sky Sports and other PGA Tour global media partners.

Or you can stream live on: PGA TOUR LIVE , GOLFPASS and GOLF Channel
