MEGAs return in December and will be bigger than ever

The Middle East Golf Awards (MEGAs), the most anticipated event of the year for the region’s golf industry, will be held this year on December 15 at the One & Only Royal Mirage.

Now in its fourth year and established as the premier networking evening of the industry, the MEGAs will have a wider geographical reach this year.

Following the request by several North African golf courses to be considered for the awards, Sport360 has decided to include North African countries into the scope of the 2016 MEGAs.

Nick Tarratt, Director – European Tour’s Dubai Office, is eagerly looking forward to the return of the annual event.

Tarratt said: “The MEGAs is perhaps the best example of the golf industry in the region coming together.

“For any industry to develop in a cohesive manner, the sharing of qualitative information, best practices as well as advanced collaborative planning, on both a domestic and international front, is a must and an event like MEGAs ensures this and helps fast-track the industry.

“The golf industry is being shown the way by Sport360 for bringing us all together for this networking opportunity. The European Tour is excited to support this golf industry initiative in an important region for us.”

The gala dinner is once again expected to attract a full-house attendance. Over 300 movers and shakers from the region’s golfing industry are expected to participate.
