MENA Tour season postponed due to Corona Virus

The MENA Tour by Arena has announced that due to the various travel issues caused by the ongoing COVID-19 situation, they have decided to postpone the remainder of the 2020 season to September-December.

The MENA Tour has confirmed that they will attempt to release the revised schedule by the end of March and that you shouldn’t hesitate to contact them if you have any queries.

After hosting five events so far this season, the players still had half of their season remaining between March and April but the threat of the Corona Virus has caused this to be moved back to later in the year where the ‘Journey to Jordan’ will conclude at Ayla Golf Club in Aqaba, Jordan.

The breakthrough story from The MENA Tour last season was when Dubai-based 15 year old Josh Hill shattered the record book with his victory at the Al Ain Open.

Englishman David Langley is currently leading the ‘Journey to Jordan’ and his compatriot David Hague is just behind with six events remaining around the Middle East region.

Unfortunately, due to the various travel issues caused by the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the MENA Tour by Arena has decided to postpone the remainder of our 2020 season to September-December. We will post the new schedule as soon as possible. pic.twitter.com/oMJAZHWtYY
