Evnroll putters, designed by Guerin Rife, have the potential to revolutionise the game of golf by eliminating mis-hits. The ‘Godfather of Grooves’ has broadened the sweet spot to create a sweet face where every putt is on line every time.
Here’s how it works:
Zero dispersion – a series of closely spaced variable width channels that are wider in the centre and get gradually narrower towards the heel and toe. This creates a precisely calibrated inward v-shape from both the heel and toe that progressively gear the ball back to the centre.
Even roll distance – Because the channels get narrower away from the centre, the spacing gets wider. This increase in contact surface means more energy transfer and replaces the energy lost when a ball is hit away from the sweet spot. Therefore, centre and off-centre hits travel the same distance.
Why you should switch:
- No side dispersion. Evnroll is the only putter that completely eliminates dispersion from mis-hits.
- Evnroll rolls the ball an even distance whether it makes contact with the centre or not.
- Swing weight milling to maintain a consistent swing weight for each length.
- Stability weighting to give the golfer both distance control for long putts and stability and accuracy for short putts.
- No hosels by design – only a single bend in the (hollow) shaft that keeps the sweet spot in the centre directly in front of the alignment line.
- LineAlign – The two dots help the golfer keep the putter square through impact.
- 100% milled, hand finished and assembled in Carlsbad, California.
Steve Ogston, Member at The Els Club, said: “It feels heavy in your hands but when you strike the ball it feels like the putter head releases very nicely. The club looks great and the feel is fantastic with the grip. I use a Scotty Cameron putter now but would certainly consider swapping for an Evnroll.”
