Ajman Tourism Development Department will host the two-day grand finals of the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge being played on Saturday, December 17, and Sunday December 18 2016 in the Emirate of Ajman. The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge is one of the most prestigious sporting events in the region and has once again been awarded the best ‘Corporate Tournament of the Year’ at the Middle East Golf Awards that was held in Dubai on 14th December 2016.
Xerox announced that 84 finalists from qualifying rounds held across, UAE, GCC and South Africa, during 2016, will compete in the 36-hole tournament at the Al Zorah Golf Club, Ajman, UAE. This is the first Nicklaus-design (the company of legendary 18-time Major Champion – Jack Nicklaus) golf course in the Middle East.
The par 72, 7,169 yard Nicklaus-design Ajman Al Zorah Golf Course offers golfers a unique experience, with a stand-out design as well as seamless integration with the natural environment. The course is set amidst one million square meters of mangroves, and is fronted by a 12km waterfront, with changing tidal patterns adding more challenges for players.
