‘From Start to Par’ – (Episode 1) – Getting started/ The Grip/ Set-up to Swing

To mark ‘Women’s Golf Day’, Worldwide Golf are delighted to launch a new webisode series as novice Sandra Tinari aims to achieve a par over the next few months under the guidance of PGA Teaching Professional Sven Nielsen at the Trump International Golf Club, Dubai.

Ladies golf is growing in popularity all around the globe so the Trump GC, Dubai wanted to highlight how straightforward and fulfilling it is for women to get involved in the sport through their popular #Ladiesluvgolf campaign.

 

The first part of this episode (below) is an introduction to what gear you need to get started and the simplicity of taking up the sport.

 

 

In the second part, Sven focuses on teaching Sandra the correct grip and gives her some hints on how to make it start to feel more natural.

 

 

In the final part of this first episode, Sandra uses a mirror to learn the correct posture and then has an attempt at a swing. What could possibly go wrong?
