Carel Nolte recorded the lowest Net score of the day in November’s Monthly Medal. His 78 gross off a 15 handicap meant a superb 63 Net was more than enough to take the Division B honours. Dan Whittakker’s route 66 was only good enough for second spot with Frederic Rouyer a shot further back in third. In Division A Jeff Glasgow kept up his impressive form with a super 66 Net playing off a 11 handicap. Eric Smith followed close by on 68 with Nick Van Blerk’s 70 managing to pip 3rd spot. Division C was the most closely contested of all three divisions as Mohammed Shariff produced a solid 69 to take first spot ahead of Konstantin Varga and Ed Chaffin who both returned 71 Net, with Konstantin pipping Ed on count back. Robert Horridge’s 74 was enough to take the Gross prize.
